Sean Young is an actress known for her roles in movies like Stripes, Blade Runner, Dune, Wall Street and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.

She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on November 20, 1959.

Young grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and later attended the Interlochen Arts Academy in Interlochen, Michigan and the School of American Ballet in New York City. Prior to starting her acting career, she worked as a ballet dancer and model.

Trying to land the Catwoman role for the sequel Batman Returns in 1992, she made a homemade Catwoman costume and attempted to contact Burton and actor Michael Keaton, even going so far as to appear on the set of the film and on The Joan Rivers Show as Catwoman to try to convince Burton to hire her for the role, which ultimately went to Michelle Pfeiffer.

Alleged burglary incident 

On August 9, 2018, Young and an unknown male companion were allegedly caught on surveillance cameras stealing two Apple laptops and video production software worth approximately $12,000 (£9,402) from the School of Old store in New York City.

Young reportedly worked at the store but had been fired several months before the alleged burglary took place.

The New York Police Department is currently seeking her for questioning and no arrests have been made so far.

Young has reportedly had other run-ins with the law before over the years. In February 2012, she was arrested outside of an Academy Awards party after allegedly slapping a security guard. The charges against her were later dropped.
