Every month a number of new tech launches take place—from smartphones to laptops to televisions.

ET Wealth rounds up some of the most interesting launches from the past week.

Vivo NEX: Rs 44,990
NEX is a new range from Vivo mobiles. The highlight of the phone is its unique pop-up selfie camera which enabled Vivo to offer a full display on front sans any notch. It has a 6.59-inch super amoled display with an under the display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Hardware specifications include Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a 4,000mAh battery with fast charge support. In the camera department, the phone boasts of a 12MP + 5MP dual rear camera with 4-axis OIS and dual pixel phase detection autofocus.

On the front it has a pop-up 8MP camera with f2.0 aperture. Other features include dual SIM, dual band WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and Android 8.1. The phone is available on Amazon India.

Tronx One: Rs 49,99

Tronx One is India’s first crossover electronic bike. Available in two colours— blue and red—the bike has an aerograde alloy frame, a 250w rear wheel hub motor and comes with a swappable battery. You get a pedal assist system that enables seamless switching between pedal controls to electronic power and vice versa. Smartron claims that a full charge will allow up to 50 km of travel. The battery takes up to four hours to charge from 0 to 100%. The standard version of the bike has rear disc brakes. Users can add a front disc brake as an upgrade.

Oppo Find X: Rs 59,990

Find X is proof of how advanced Oppo’s technology and design capabilities have become. The phone has a motorised body that slides up and down—the slider hides the front as well as rear camera. Thanks to this design, you get a beautiful 6.4-inch amoled curved display with no notch and minimal bezels. On the back is an all-glass design which appears and feels premium. For the asking price, you get top of the line Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and a 3,730mAh battery with Oppo’s own fast Vooc charging. On the front is a 25MP camera along with a 3D facial recognition system while the rear has a 16MP + 20MP dual camera with OIS. The phone will go on sale on 3 August 2018.

LG 55-inch OLED Smart TV: Rs 2,64,990

This TV belongs to LG’s new ThinQ range which boasts of integrated AI. The 55-inch OLED TV has 4k cinema HDR support with Dolby Vision, Ultra HD 3,840 x 2,160 resolution and Infinite contrast thanks to the OLED panel. It runs LG’s own WebOS interface and is powered by their latest alpha 9 processor which delivers superior colours and enhanced noise reduction. The TV’s AI functionality lets users control the TV via voice instructions. LG claims there are over 800 working voice commands available for the TV. Other features include Dolby Atmos support, 4k upscaling, 2.2 channel speakers, WiFi, Bluetooth, 4 x HDMI, 3 x USB, Ethernet, component, composite and optical audio out ports.

ViewSonic PX700HD: Rs 85,000
Gaming has seen a rise in India and the launch of gaming-focused devices by various brands is proof. ViewSonic is amongst the first to bring a gaming projector in India with the PX700HD. The projector has native 1,080p full HD resolution, a brightness of 3,500mAh lumens and 3x fast input for reducing blur.

It features a dedicated gaming mode which enhanced colour temperature for improved visibility. You get dual HDMI ports as well as audio-in and audio-out ports. The projector can also display 3D content when connected to a compatible 3D media player, console or laptop. There is a powered USB port also present on the projector to connect HDMI wireless dongles if required.
